This position is an important one to Interrupt and our clients’ digital media success.

Position Description:

The Digital Media Strategist will be responsible for providing day-to-day oversight, execution, and reporting for Interrupt’s clients participating in digital media solutions. The selected candidate will demonstrate a knowledge of all digital marketing tactics with a strong focus on SEO, Paid Search, Display Advertising, Email Marketing, and Analytics. We are looking for a passionate resource that can help bring industry trends, tools, and best practices to our growing team of digital marketers.

Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate with our Director of Digital Strategy and Senior Media Manager to create, plan, organize and implement the media processes and best practices within the agency
  • Manage performance expectations of all digital media
  • Own and manage the campaign delivery roadmap of optimization, ensuring the all programs are driving value, innovation and cross-channel alignment
  • Optimize relevant channels in accordance with clients’ goals and visions
  • Maintain positive relationships with media partners while staying up to date on vendor capabilities, costs, media kits and creative options and technology
  • Utilize media research tools and other available resources during plan development
  • Execute plans and report on campaign performance and effectiveness ensuring accurate reporting
  • Maintain all campaign documents, including flowcharts, creative specs, material deadlines and tracking URL’s
  • Monitor campaign deliverables, timelines, budgets and results to ensure the client goals are met
  • Participate in and prepare presentations for client calls to discuss campaign performance, interpretation of data, and actionable plans based on findings
  • Ongoing engagement through researching trends to identify media that is most effective at reaching the target audiences
  • Ongoing analysis of competitive media reports
  • Provide high level of customer service to clients with effective communication, timely responses to request and proactive resolution of potential issues

Requirements:

  • Practical experience in digital marketing strategy and analytical areas of study
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, Display, Analytics, UX and front-end content development
  • Proven track record of setting and achieving KPI goals for digital marketing activities
  • Experience with digital marketing tools like Google Adwords, SEMRush, and Google Analytics,
  • Understanding of programmatic display networks
  • Ability to work within our culture and a team environment is essential
  • Team player with the confidence and integrity to earn client and internal team confidence
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
  • It is preferred that this position work full time in Sylvania, Ohio; Remote or hybrid arrangements may be considered for highly qualified candidates
