Meet Tricia Knight: A World of Media Expertise
Tricia Knight, Interrupt’s new Senior Media Director, believes in constant evolution when it comes to the dynamic world of paid media.
“There are more choices than ever, whether you’re targeting or a trade audience or consumers,” says Tricia. “In order to help clients navigate those endless opportunities, we’re in a continual learning cycle to make sure we have the informed perspective to evaluate those options and deliver the best strategy to help reach their goals.”
Being a good steward of a client’s media dollars is a responsibility Tricia takes seriously.
“I’m always trying to get the best value for the client’s budget, and then digging into the metrics to see what’s working. That’s important because what worked a few years ago might not be the right approach today. Media habits are changing. We want to make sure our buys are based on what will make the most impact, and not just what’s been done before.
Resisting the temptation to get comfortable is a consistent theme in Tricia’s career. She’s seen one wave of change after another since entering the marketing scene in the early 1990s. As the world of traditional print, broadcast and outdoor blossomed into websites, email, digital ads, social media and more, she embraced each new platform with an eye toward the opportunities it afforded her clients. Soon her roster grew to include national and global clients across numerous business-to-business and business-to-consumer industries.
At Interrupt, Tricia is excited to focus her expertise as part of a fully integrated strategy for each client.
“It’s phenomenal the way things are integrated here, from the business strategy to how we go to market to closing the loop with sales,” she explains.
As digital marketing continues to grow in complexity, having Tricia on board enables us to help our clients stay at the top of their game, notes Interrupt’s Director of Digital Strategy, Karin Meglitsch.
“Tricia has been such an amazing addition to our team,” says Karin. “She not only brings a wealth of experience and expertise, but class, integrity, and a level of excellence that shines bright in every project she touches.”
Not only does Tricia know her way around a spreadsheet, she’s no slouch on stage either. An avid participant in community theater and a gifted (though self-effacing) vocalist, she knocked our socks off in Nashville with some killer karaoke.
