Get to know our newest team member, Luke Palushaj. After nearly 20 years in the marketing and branding business, he has a dynamic background with plenty of experience in thoughtful disruption. Not to mention, a quick witted personality that lights up the room.
Wit. Charisma. Depth. Those are just a few factors Luke Palushaj brings to the Interrupt team. From day one, Luke has stepped up to the plate, leading engaging brainstorms, rebranding projects and all-around design strategy as our new Associate Creative Director. After nearly 20 years with Detroit-based Campbell Ewald, he has a dynamic background with plenty of experience in thoughtful disruption.
“I am very familiar with what drives conversion in the advertising and design world. It's all about how well you connect with the client and understand their business that makes a successful partnership,” he explains.
With Cadillac, I incorporated lavish lifestyle and clean, modern design into beautifully shot vehicles at modern and pristine locations. It’s gratifying to see other luxury automotive brands currently mimicking the tone and photography style that I established for this iconic brand
Throughout his career, he’s worked with multiple accounts across variety of industries. Most recently, his experience centered on the automobile business. In his role as a creative leader, he was challenged with rebranding iconic brands like Cadillac and Chevrolet to make them more appealing to younger, sophisticated car buyers. Basically, he had to take outdated, old fashioned brands and give them a fresh, reinvigorated feel.
“With Cadillac, I incorporated lavish lifestyle and clean, modern design into beautifully shot vehicles at modern and pristine locations. It’s gratifying to see other luxury automotive brands currently mimicking the tone and photography style that I established for this iconic brand,” he said.
He also led the design team for a Harley-Davidson pitch that ultimately won the account. By creating an experiential brand kit complete with high end packaging and a beautifully produced video, he helped the client see their company through a new lens. Luke helped his team make an impact from the start and leave a lasting impression to win their respect — and partnership.
When it was time to explore new opportunities, Luke was introduced to Interrupt. He was immediately intrigued by our website and client base. As an avid DIYer and building materials enthusiast, he was drawn to the level of our business partners.
“I was ready for a new challenge and was very impressed with my first impression of Interrupt,” Luke said.
He was also very excited to lend his branding and strategy efforts to accounts that had a streamlined audience base and focus.
“We’re very excited to have Luke join our team,” said Anita Holman, Interrupt’s Executive Creative Director and Brand Strategist. “He brings an unexpected twist to his creative solutions and we’re looking forward to seeing how this unique approach will shake up the building materials industry.”
In addition to his impressive career accomplishments, he’s also a perfect match for our culture. We believe that we’re only as successful as our team dynamic, and Luke adds a wonderful energy. Whether it’s cracking a smartass joke in a morning meeting or challenging us to think differently, he helps us all grow and be better, day after day.
